There were plenty of restaurants to choose from of various ethnicity's. There were lots of sights to see and the city was very clean. One issue, we found many pizza places do not offer sit down eating, they are carry out.

"Visiting Richmond, BC was an absolute pleasure and left me with unforgettable memories of a vibrant and welcoming destination. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the city's charm and diversity.
Richmond's rich cultural tapestry was evident everywhere I went, from the bustling streets filled with eclectic shops and restaurants to the beautiful parks and gardens that offered a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
One of the highlights of my visit was exploring Richmond's renowned culinary scene. With its diverse population, the city boasts an array of dining options representing cuisines from around the world. From indulging in mouthwatering dim sum in the bustling Golden Village to savoring freshly caught seafood at Steveston's waterfront eateries, every meal was a culinary adventure.
I was also impressed by Richmond's dedication to preserving its natural beauty and heritage. Steveston Village, with its historic buildings and picturesque waterfront, offered a glimpse into the city's past as a bustling fishing village. Additionally, the lush gardens of the Richmond Nature Park provided a serene setting for leisurely strolls and birdwatching.
Throughout my stay, I was struck by the warmth and hospitality of the locals. Whether chatting with shop owners in the vibrant Asian malls or receiving recommendations from friendly residents while exploring the city, I felt welcomed and embraced by the community.
In summary, my recent visit to Richmond, BC was a truly enriching experience filled with delicious food, captivating sights, and genuine hospitality. I would highly recommend this destination to anyone seeking a dynamic and culturally rich travel experience. I can't wait to return and continue exploring all that this wonderful city has to offer!"

I want my card refunded immediately as I requested that I be allowed to visit my brother at the property with an extra person , I was never refused prior To my arrival and I had asked prior to my original nite then I reiterated that on the 2nd booking I would likely still he in need of that privilege and the management never responded negatively so I brought my brother over and we arrived at 0200am and that was fine but the management seen my guest enter with me and although I was never told at anytime I couldn't entertain my guest, and we weren't causing any problems or noise but my guest and I were kicked out around 0230am and a separate Tenant threatened to physically harm us and we had disagreed with management but we were still following there exit request so it was very traumatic and I want a full refund for NY $120 plus nite in the cold Richmond, BC STREETs!!!! Now please, No delay!!!

If you have a rental car, Richmond is convenient for proximity to airport and access to the highways to connect to nearby districts. Chinese restaurants which I visited did not disappoint. I had to take away at Kirin which do not welcome lone diners. They told me they were full because I didn’t have a reservation.
Whilst waiting for my takeaway order, they took in a party of 5 who had no reservations. They spoke in Chinese which I understood. Not a very nice restaurant but dim sum items were tasty.
BBQ master serves authentic HK style roast meats. I had chicken and duck with rice which was excellent.

It's in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood.
It's in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. The host showed me the short cut to the bus stop which is a big help. It's easy to navigate for public transportation . A head up for the future travellers when you check in you have to pay $50 deposit for the key, the host will return the deposit to you when you check out.
Very clean, great decor, wonderful amenities, robes, slippers, beds so comfortable, bathrooms are fantastic. I didn’t expect all this. Even the lighting in the room - love the relax setting. Staff always jumped to help with anything. Shuttle is accommodating. So impressed.
I will always stay here now when I need an airport hotel in Vancouver (I go to Vancouver a lot)
only thing, it is in an industrial area, can be sketchy if walking around or some views from the room. but it is by the airport so I think that’s to be expected.
This is a small hotel, with very clean room. As it is small, you do not have lots of clients, so not much noise.
You can park your car for free : you just have to register it at check-in.
You can leave your luggage at reception if you arrive before check-in time.
And also the procedure if you arrive after the end of check-in time (11pm).
There is a supermarket and a couple of restaurants nearby if needed. We tested a good Fish&Chips restaurant 250m from the hotel.
The area is very quiet and safe , as it is in Richmond
The welcome and location of this accommodation was magnificent for us . Walking distance from the wonderful Minoru Park , Richmond Shopping centre and Skytrain Terminus to downtown Vancouver. Excellent Facilities throughout the house. Bedroom spacious with Large Clothes Storage and Bathroom. Full use of Kitchen, TV room and garden outdoor area. Co host Sharon was extremely helpful throughout our stay(four weeks). Would highly recommend as a place to stay when visiting VC, we look forward to booking again on our next visit.
It’s close to the airport, just a 10 minute drive or take the free hotel shuttle. The place isn’t flash, but the staff are friendly and helpful and we were happy with our king room. Breakfast is basic, but enough to start the day - standard North American. Not many restaurants in the area, but there are a few within walking distance. The Canada Tram/Metro line is a five minute walk away and takes you directly to the Waterfront. Tip - get a Day Pass for $11 and you can use tram, bus and seabus all day long.
My travel plans were thrown into disarray by cancellation of my BC ferry sailing and the front desk could not have been more helpful. They stored my bags and gave me good advice, all without impatience. The room was exceptional. Absolutely everything as one would hope for, but doesn't always get. Shuttle worked fine; driver polite and helpful. I've stayed at half a dozen YVR/Richmond hotels and this one stands head and shoulders above all the others.
Nice spacious room with two comfy king sized beds, and a decent bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. This is a large hotel, and the swimming pool looked very nice.
We did not eat here as we went into Vancouver each day. We used the hotels excellent airport transfer and then the Skytrain from the airport into town. There is also a transfer from the hotel into Richmond, but we didn't have time to go there.
The breakfast was amazing, fresh cooked, delicious Asian food, toast, jam, milk, müsli, coffee, tea, and a lot more. William and Jessica were really very friendly and helpful. The location is near Steveston in Richmond, About 20 Minutes with bus no.406 to Brighouse Skytrain station, then another 25 minutes with Skytrain Canada Line (Blueline) to Waterfront.
Everything! William is such a great host. He is very friendly and accommodating. The room was immaculate and the breakfasts are wonderful! Probably the best place we stayed on our trip to Alaska and Canada. Even though it's in Richmond, don't miss this one if visiting Vancouver.
Way too expensive for the regular services and regular facilities that you can find anywhere in Canada. Dogs overnight costs 10-25, I was charged $60 for the 1st night and 10 each night after - for which reason??? Hotels don't worth the money they charge in Vancouver.
Space is huge with attached bathroom, kitchen, living room, with own balcony. Free wifi. Free to use shampo, conditioner, shower gel, towels. Bus available 405 going to Richmond Brighouse Canada Metro line. The owner is nice and helpful. Quick answers on inquiries.
Hotel was located across the street from the Aberdeen Station (SkyTrain - Canada Line) and the Aberdeen Mall and next to Yaohan Centre. We had a room with enjoyable views out towards the airport, Skytrain rail line below, and distant snow capped mountains.
We loved this stunning beautiful house, hosts are nice and welcoming. Property is clean and well maintained. Now, here at the Vancouver Vacation Home is definitely my top choice for stay in Richmond. Look forward for the next return.
The hotel is super-convenient to the Vancouver airport, about a 10-15 minute drive via free hotel shuttle. Our room turned out to be a suite, with full kitchen - would probably be great for a longer stay in the Vancouver area.
next to the sky train and cheaper than a lot of Vancouver places. it’s exactly what it looks like. a hotel that’s been around forever and is middle of the road. no pomp no special stuff. just 70s carpet and clean rooms.
The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located across from Aberdeen Station on the Canada Line, and the hotel offers a free airport shuttle.
It's right beside Lansdowne Mall, which gives you more options for dining than staying at the other airport locations. You can walk to the skytrain and take it to Richmond or Vancouver or the airport.
I like the Sandman hotel because it is located close to the Vancouver international airport and also includes a great restaurant, Moxies, for a delicious meal.
