A beautiful villa well located in Chiang Mai's old town. Super helpful staff at the reception made us feel warmly welcomed. The room was very clean and quiet with a lovely balcony. About 10-15 min walk to Saturday and Sunday's night market which were highly recommended.

Well situated in the centre of Chiang Mai, POR Thapae Gate offers air-conditioned rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel was in a great location so we could walk everywhere in the Old City. The Sunday Walking Market goes along our street so it’s super busy on Sunday night. The staff was exceptional; always welcoming and happy to ask about our day or offer suggestions of where to go. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean with water and coke replenished in the fridge everyday if needed. Having fresh fruit, coffee and water available all day was great. We enjoyed the pool to cool off after a day out. Can’t say enough good things about Kiki, Tan, Pop, Pim, Dan and Momo at the front desk, they really enjoy their job; and the housekeeping staff were also great!
