The staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable and it came with an iron and ironing board already in the wardrobe (so no need to be calling reception for one to be delivered to the room) and bottled water each day.

Nice hotel, outside the center but with good metro connection and several facilities in the area. The room was comfortable for a family of three. The breakfast was big with lots of options. I used the spa and the facility was clean and nice. The hotel also has restaurant and coffee place, both with tasty options. Unfortunately the roof restaurant was not open and was too cold to use the pool although it looked fantastic. We used the room service for dinner and it was delicious and nicely served.

Spent several hours at La Sagrada Familia and were completely enthralled— it was our favorite place, along with the Palace of Catalan Music and Park Guell. Really wish we’d skipped Barcelona Cathedral in favor of a visit to Montjuic with its park and museums. We enjoyed La Pedrera although disappointed that a tiny bit of rain caused them to close the rooftop. They also have a terrific gift shop! Wish we’d planned an extra day to visit Montserrat Monastery. We walked everywhere, which was such a pleasure; just good to be aware that it’s a big city! Also recommend La Boqueria Market on Las Ramblas, or Santa Catarina Market, which is near the Picasso Museum, for an amazing food market experience.

The architecture and historical buildings were absolutely fabulous
Having said that the amount of graffiti was quite disturbing and really spoilt our opinion of Barcelona as a place to visit
We understand that Barcelona is presently experiencing a drought at the moment so there was an accumulation of filth on some of the streets that would normally be washed away with sufficient rain
The underground system is quite good but nowhere near as good as Singapore's. It would help it there was more information in English

We stayed in the old town which was very romantic with its narrow, winding streets and many shops and restaurants. All of the locals we met were friendly and helpful, though many were not fluent in English (they knew a little), so it helps to know a little bit of Spanish to get around and order food. We found that although the old town is a fun destination, going a little bit out of the way to find a restaurant that isn't packed with other tourists made for a more pleasant dining experience.
I'd specifically like to recommend Olgod Beer Lab for any craft beer lovers. They brew a wide range of styles, all of which were very good. I especially liked their barrel-aged mixed-culture sour.
I'm a huge Juan Miro fan, so visiting the Juan Miro Foundation was a special treat.
The Picasso museum was cool because you got to see a lot of his early stuff, like his academic works and his landscapes. I felt like it could have gone into more detail about his hand in creating cubism and why it was important in the context of art history. Worth a visit nonetheless.

Barcelona is a huge city, so unless you're staying here a long time, you'll only see a fraction of the city. That might be okay.
The transportation infrastructure is fantastic. There are very few gaps in the coverage and often metro lines crisscross in ways that make it possible to get to the same place in multiple ways. The multi-day pass cards are kind of fragile, so consider buying them for one or two days at a time, not for the maximum length, just in case.
A lot of the major tourist attractions are overrated. If I went back, I think I would spend more time exploring the city without a goal in mind and seeing more niche sights.
That said, do try and see the Museu Marítim de Barcelona.

Barcelona is amazing!
Barcelona is amazing! Some of my favorite things are the skate spots, like the parks, but also lots of street spots.
The Raval area has some great vintage stores, indy shops and cool bars and nice restaurants. For Mexican food and great cocktails check out El Pachuco. Carrer Joaquin Costa is great for food/snacks and drinks.
If you're a picky or vegan eater you might want to do some research before you go into a restaurant, or ask the staff nicely for vegan options.
Vegan find of the week: Vrutal in Poblenau, great food and super friendly staff.
The people are super friendly and I made new (skate) friends instantly.
If you fly into Barcelona El Prat you can go to the city with a shuttle bus, the metro, train or a taxi. I found the cheapest way is to take the metro (€5,50 for a single ticket), next to cheapest is the bus (€7,25) and then the taxi, which is probably around €25-€50 into the center.
Location in the city centre with good connection to the airport (metro, bus), shops and famous shopping street behind the corner. Night life few steps from hotel.
Top services in all aspects! Stuff was super friendly, specially team from reception will deserve extra bonus as they are top stars! we've had free upgrade to larger room, welcome drink and free champagne :) specially Emir (hope I remember correctly) was asking always whether we are satisfied and he did his best even calling us via hotel phone.
Hotel Barcelona Center was amazing! One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Europe. The beds were large and super comfortable, the room and bathroom were spacious, and the hotel was clean overall. I was able to check-in early with no notice which was extremely helpful. The staff was helpful at pointing out the best Tapas place, as well as the best means for transportation in and around the city. This hotel felt like a fancy hotel but was a decent price. I would definitely stay here again!
The staff was great and helpful. they gave us useful tips and treated us well (shoutout to Jose, he was so kind).
The location is 5 minute walk from the metro and an airport bus station (placa espana), it is not in the town center and you do need to use the metro to travel but we were prepared for it and found it easy to use.
There is a nice coffee shop underneath the hotel.
It was a lot cheaper then hotels in the city center and served us well.
One of the best locations in the city, extremely close to everything: restaurants, metro, bus stops, convenience stores and most of all, the Sagrada Familia. We appreciate the professionalism of the staff, their pleasant personalities, knowledge of Barcelona and their helpful ways of treating their hotel guests. Thank you very much to the cleaning staff and the front desk staff especially Amanda - she is wonderful!
The hotel was in the best location, with almost all places of interest very close by. Fina and Enrique, our friendly hosts, were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. The room was cleaned daily, and the bathroom was equipped with all the essentials. We are extremely pleased with both the hotel and our hosts. Our 7 days in Barcelona was the best, thanks to Fina, Enrique, and the city itself. Thank you all!
Icon BCN is located at the heart of Barcelona making it an ideal place to stay if you're planning to walk around the city center. The room we had was big and comfy with access to the terrace and with a private and cozy outside space. Breakfast was awesome with a great variety of quality choices. But the best thing about Icon BCN is the hotel staff. They were there for us 24/7 and did commit to our experience.
- We chose this hotel for our last night in Spain/Barcelona. We were coming in by train and leaving the next day by plane. The hotel is close to the Barcelona Sants train station and Placa d'Espanya (one of the stops for the Aerobus to El Prat airport). There are lots of restaurants in the area.
- The air conditioning and WiFi worked great. We had plenty of hot water.
Our first visit to Barcelona- this hotel exceeded our expectations. This well maintained facility and super friendly staff made our visit delightful.
The metro stop is right in front of the hotel. Perfect for getting anywhere in the city.
The hotel is in the center of so many shops and restaurants it’s easy to spend a day without having to go far.
I can say that the hotel is good and clean for a 3 star hotel in the city center of Barcelona. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is simple but ok, good coffee. Location is excellent you are close to Rambla, close to restaurants and shops. The staff is very kind. I think is a little expensive but you are in the center of Barcelona....
Excellent hotel. Location is wonderful for tennis and easy access to airport and central Barcelona. Spotlessly clean, modern, comfortable with the added advantage of a first class restaurant. Wonderful food - thank you chef! All tbr
staff are fantastic. All round one of the very best hotels I've stayed at. Highly recommend it.
Barcelona is generally an expensive city and the price that I paid for this hotel was reasonable. Stuff was kind and helpful. The room was really clear. Hotel is not near to city center but there is a subway station near, you can go almost every where by metro. You should be willing to spend at least 30 min to go somewhere.
In the Hotel you have everything..Gym, Pool,..outside the Hotel there’s a lot of Restaurants, one can easily access the Bus and Train going to city center, Beach nearby and one can easily do jogging early in the morning in the Strand of Barcelona Beach, like what we did.
They changed Towels everyday! Prima!
The hotel was located just in the middle of airport and the city center. Right in front of the hotel (appx 50m) was Badal metro station wich is going to the center in 10-15 min. There was 7 station to La Sagrada Familia.
Alao the staff was professional, excellent in english.
The room was very-very clean.
The hotel is located in one of the best high street in Barcelona. Very close to two of the most famous Gaudi casa. We could easily walk to the city center. The place has many nice restaurants and bar. Loved our stay here and the staff is very helpful.
Hotel is in a really nice and quite block, and not far away from city center. The room is big, clean and comfirtable, with very well organized every day by hotel stuff. We will absolutly choose this hotel next time in Barcelona!
The location is a plus, and the food at the resto is delicious. I ordered arroz negro and so far it was one of the best I tried in Spain. FYI: You’ll get 10% discount from the resto if you have a booking in the hotel.
Nice and big hotel. Interesting solution for guests with access card to enter the hotel, lift, rooms etc
Beautiful 😍 view from the top floor for both sea and Barcelona City center 💙 easy check in and check out.
